About bellePlan
bellePlan governs the hardware services and technical support provided to you by belleStoreInc under the bellePlan for Apple-branded product (excluding accessories) contained in the original packaging.
When bellePlan begins?
bellePlan begins when you purchase the bellePlan and ends on the date specified in your Plan Confirmation Receipt (“Coverage Period”). Your “Plan Agreement Number” will be indicated on your original sales receipt. Your original sales receipt is your Plan Confirmation.
What is covered for hardware repair and services ?
If during the Coverage Period, you provide a valid claim by notifying belleStoreInc about any defect in materials arisen in the Covered Product, belleStoreInc will either repair the defect at no charge for the replacement part (excluding service and shipping charges) or exchange the Covered Product with a replacement product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability, and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.
If during the plan term you submit a valid claim notifying belleStoreInc that the covered equipment has failed due to accidental damage from handling, belleStoreInc will, subject to the service fee and either (i) repair the defect using new or refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or (ii) exchange the covered device with a replacement product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability. bellePlan coverage will expire and all of belleStoreInc’s obligations to you once we have provided service for your accidental damage claim one time for the covered device.
Accidental coverage only applies to an operational or mechanical failure caused by an accident from handling that is the result of an unexpected and unintentional external event (e.g. drops and damage caused by liquid contact other than as a result of defect in material and workmanship) that arises from your normal daily usage of the Covered Equipment as intended for such Covered Equipment. Accidental coverage does not include (a) protection against normal wear and tear, theft, misplacement, reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct associated with handling and use of the Covered Equipment,
If belleStoreInc exchanges the Covered Product, the original product becomes belleStoreInc’s property and the replacement product is your property with coverage for the remaining period of the Plan.
What is not covered!
The bellePlan does not apply to: Damage caused by a product that is not the Covered Product. Abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause. Operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by the manufacturer. Service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of the Manufacturer or their Authorized Service Provider. Product with a serial number that has been altered, defaced or removed, or has been modified to alter its functionality or capability without the written permission of the manufacturer; Product that has been lost or stolen. Cosmetic damage to the product including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; Defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to normal aging of the product.
Transfer of Plan
Transfer of plan to a new owner or product is impossible. belleStoreInc is not responsible for any failures or delays in performing under the Plan that are due to events outside belleStoreInc’s reasonable control. This Plan is offered and valid only to (USA Region) Apple Product. You agree that any information or data disclosed to belleStoreInc under the bellePlan is not confidential or proprietary to you. Furthermore, you agree that belleStoreInc may collect and process data on your behalf when it provides service. This may include transferring your data to affiliated companies or service providers located in countries where data protection laws may be less comprehensive than your country of residence. Your Responsibilities
To receive service or support under the Plan, you agree to comply with the following: Provide your Plan Agreement Number and a copy of your Plan’s original proof of purchase, if requested; Provide information about the symptoms and causes of the issues with the Covered Equipment; Respond to requests for information, including but not limited to the product serial number, model, version of the operating system and software installed, any peripherals devices connected or installed on the product, any error messages displayed, actions taken before the product experienced the issue and steps taken to resolve the issue; Update software to currently published releases prior to seeking service.
Make sure to backup software and data residing on the product.
You will be responsible for reinstalling all other software programs, data and passwords.
The plan does not include
Issues that could be resolved by upgrading software to the then current version; Damage to, or loss of any software or data residing or recorded on the product. Recovery and reinstallation of software programs and user data are not covered under this Plan.
Technical Support
During the Coverage Period, belleStoreInc will provide you with access to telephone and In-Store technical support.
Technical support may include assistance with installation, launch, configuration, troubleshooting.
